Dolores Phillips passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was born in New Cumberland, West Virginia on April 22, 1932. She was the daughter of Walter and Blanche Swain. She has lived in the Bridgeport area since 1994. She was a retired teacher from many elementary schools in the area including Bridgeport and St. Clairsville. Since her retirement she spent many years with her sister, Doris Swain, who preceded her in death in March 15, 2016. She was an avid traveler and when no longer able to travel she had a beautiful flower garden with many beautiful varieties. Her yard was a beauty to behold. She is survived by her two sons, Richard and his wife Sherry of Carrollton, Texas and Royce Phillips from Florida. She is also survived by her friend, Esther. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was a life member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association from 1947 and former Member of the Eastern Star. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Bridgeport, OH on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 5-7pm.
