Rene Michelle Cook of Hernando, MS passed away suddenly on Monday February 12, 2018. Michelle was a successful sales associate for TVC Communications for 14 years and was passionate about her career. Michelle had a zest for life and was an avid boater, camper, golfer and love to travel the world with her loving wife, Marie and cherished family and friends. Those who knew Michelle had a friend, confidant and supporter from the moment of their first introduction. There was nothing she wouldn't do for anyone who was blessed to have called her family or friend.
Michelle is survived by her wife, Lena Marie Horton of Hernando, MS; father, Roy Cook, Jr. of Halls, TN; sister, Gaye Gardner of Harrisburg, AR; brother, Roy Cook III of Halls, TN, brother, Morgan Cook of Halls, TN, sister, Betsy Shelton of Alamo, TN; niece, Lauren Jones of Nashville, TN, the Horton, family as well as countless family and friends. She is also survived by her children, AJ, Pebbles, BamBam, Misty, Lulu, Baby girl, Gigi and Charlie.
The visitation will be held Sunday, February 18, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Hernando Funeral Home, 2285 Hwy 51 South, Hernando, MS 38632. The funeral service will be held Monday, February 19, at 1 p.m. at Hernando Funeral Home, 2285 Hwy 51 S Hernando, MS 38632. A graveside service will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery at 2545 E Holmes Road, Memphis, TN 38118. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tunica Humane Society 4500 Fox Island Road, Tunica, MS 38676.
