Mrs. Stilwell, born in Martinsburg, WV; was the daughter of the late Alec and Bertha Linton and the widow of R. Bruce Stilwell. She was also preceded in death by and infant son, siblings, Virginia (Russell) Butts, Charles "Bud" (Maxine) Linton, and J. Donald Linton.
She was a long time member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was employed by Katz Department Store, Jacobs Show Store, Hutzler Oil Company, and Community Oil. She was a member of EGO, Dupont REtirees, and a member of the Martinsburg High School class of 1946. She was a care giver to many, had many people who loved her and called her Grandma Louise. She was a blessing to her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Randall C. Stilwell and wife Leslie; three grandchildren, Abigail Varner and husband Erik, Marianne Thomas and husband Brian, Allison Riner and husband Bradley; great grandchildren, Ella, Madeline and Vivian Varner, Jackson and Reed Thomas, Maggie, Faith, Hannah and Ainsley Riner; and two neighbors who helped her be so independent, Linda and Hallie.
The family received friends one hour prior services at the funeral home.
The funeral services were held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Cantley officiating.
Burial was made in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, WV.
