Billie Faye Hoover, 64, of Barberton, formerly of Rittman, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Summa Barberton Hospital following a period of declining health.

She was born June 17, 1953 in Road Branch, WV to the late Rev. Lewis and Dora (Fletcher) Hall and lived most of her life in the Rittman/Barberton area.

Billie graduated from Lenore High School in the class of 1973 and married Paul J. Hoover on September 28, 1974. They had been happily married for 41 years until his death in 2016.

She was a homemaker for her whole life, and also worked for a period of time as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the Victory Chapel in Akron, where she was very dedicated to serving others and enjoyed singing. She also enjoyed flowers, watching the hummingbirds around her house, reading, and loved every single member of her family. She also loved to travel, and especially enjoyed the family vacations to Niagara Falls.

Surviving is son; daughter; grandchildren; brothers; sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers Ronnie and Elijah, and sisters Dorothy and Anna Ruth.
