Sarah Elizabeth Vance was born December 31, 1941 in Skiatook, OK to Earl and Verlie (Moore) Park Sr. She passed away on February 18, 2018 in Salina. Sarah attended and graduated from Skiatook Schools. Sarah married Ronnie Vance on June 13, 1959 in Skiatook. Sarah moved to Salina from Skiatook in 1973. Sarah was a member of First Baptist Church in Pryor. She enjoyed gardening, painting, working puzzles, and was very artisitic. She also enjoyed spending time with family and attending grandchildren’s sporting events. Every year for Valentine’s Day and Halloween, she made over 300 cookies and hand delivered them to kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Sarah was instrumental in landscaping and caring for Springer Park in Salina. She also hosted many family gatherings.
Sarah is survived by her husband Ronnie; her daughters Lorraine Holman and husband Buddy of Salina, Elizabeth “Sissy” Crawford and husband Red of Salina, Colleen Holman and husband Johnnie of Salina, Kim Whitenack and husband Donnie of Pryor; grandchildren Andy Holman, Blake Crawford, Brent Crawford, Sarah Jane Brickey, Clint Whitenack, Trenda Cisper, Travis Whitenack, Brock Crawford, and Nathan Holman; fifteen great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother Earl Park Jr. of Skiatook; sister Stella Schwartz of Tulsa; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ben Park; and sisters Georgeann Barton and Jane Reynolds.
