Sandra Hubbard Spivey passed away February 2, 2011, at age 51, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family in Pasco, Washington. Once her children were grown, she and Bobby decided to move to Washington, where she worked at Wiley Elementary in West Richland, WA, and then White Bluffs in West Richland, WA. She also continued her own education and earned a Master's Degree in Education in 2009. Sandra was well respected and loved by her family, friends, colleagues, and students. She loved to be outside, playing in the sunshine, whether it be on her boat in the middle of the Columbia River or on the beach in Maui. She truly loved the adventure of life.
