Clayton Andrews, Sr., 90 of Lehighton, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital- Gnaden Huetten Memorial Campus, Lehighton. Born May 21, 1927 in Unionville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Clair and Eva (George) Andrews and husband of the late Fern (Bryfogle) Andrews.
He worked as a Railroad Inspector for Conrail before retiring in 1993. Clayton was easy going and was adored by anyone who came in contact with him.
He is survived by daughter, Judith J. Andrews of Jupiter, FL, sons, Larry D. Andrews of Lehighton, and Clayton Andrews, Jr., sister, Eva Dugan of Palmerton, brothers, Edward Andrews of Franklin Township, Earl “Mike” Andrews of Lehighton, Willard “Jake “Andrews of Lehighton, and Clair Andrews of Tennessee, and one great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the ASPCA in care of the Miller Funeral Home 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.
