Funeral services for Douglas Hart, 72, of Goldthwaite and formerly of Winters, will be held at 10 a.n. Friday, Feb. 23 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Pecan Wells Cemetery in Hamilton County. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1945 to James David Hart and Minnie Olgesbee Hart.
He married Maria Elena DeLaCerda in 1995. He served in the Texas National Guard from 1966-72.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Dowell and husband Mark of Goldthwaite, and Chad David Hart of Winters; grandchildren, Sammie Dowell, Desteny Dowell, Bijah Dowell, Chad Allen Hart, Cody Knight, David, Bruce Knight, Paul David Knight, Dashea and Brian Beau; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Annette Hart; and a brother, Allen Hart.
