Gerry raised and educated in Danvers, and a class of 1962 graduate of Holten High School, in Danvers.
Gerry was a skilled machinist, working for various companies. He was a lifelong automobile enthusiast, and auto mechanic. He was an accomplished student of photography, and was a student and friend of the late jazz guitarist Douglas Cloyd of Salem. He enjoyed entertaining his friends and family with his guitar playing, and his good sense of humor. Gerry was a Communicant of St. Adelaide Church in Peabody, along with his wife and numerous friends. He was always active in engaging others in the Catholic faith. He was a lifelong and outspoken advocate of political and religious conservatism, and a longtime member of the John Birch Society.
