Sheri Ann Downs, 54, of North Vernon passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at her residence.
Born July 16, 1964 in Ridgecrest, California, Ms. Downs was the daughter of the late Alexander Mazurowski and Marjory Edwards Franks.
Ms. Downs worked as a cashier/customer service associate for Wal-Mart in North Vernon for five years, she had previously worked in food service for Jennings County Schools where she was a cook for several schools and worked for NAC for four years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in North Vernon and a former Jennings County High School Band parent. Ms. Downs enjoyed being with her friends and family.
Survivors include her son, Justin Chadwick of North Vernon; daughter, Nicki (Jonathan) Thomas of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers, Robbie (Marlene) Collins of Denver, Colorado, Gene Collins of Arlington, Massachusetts and Colin Collins of Ridgecrest, California; and grandchild, Josiah Thomas of Louisville, Kentucky and her beloved Franks family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the First Christian Church in North Vernon with Rev. Kendall Wildey officiating. Family and Friends may call at the church on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Arrangements were entrusted to Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
