Marilyn was born December 13, 1943 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Albion and Mary (Aiken) Drown. She was a life-long resident of Southbury and worked as a school bus driver for Regional School District 15 for 31 years. Besides her husband of 55 years, she leaves two daughters, Robin Brand and Lisa Lynn, four grandchildren, Steven Lynn and Roseann Miclette, and Matthew and Mark McHolland; her great-grandson, Kristopher Gaylord; three brothers, Bob Drown, Wayne Drown and Albion Drown Jr.; and three sisters, Nancy Bowser, Mary Grant and Linda Milot. She was pre-deceased by her son, Walter B. Lynn Jr. and granddaughter, Heather Miclette.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at United Church of Christ, 283 Main Street North, Southbury.
Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
Calling hours: Thursday, Feb. 22nd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street, Southbury.
