He was born on August 28, 1991 in Catawba County the son of Stephen Ray & Rebecca Ann Rogers Marsh.
Throughout his life, Seth worked for the Catawba County DOT, but his love and passion was for preaching as a Pastor for Russell Gap Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all a fisherman for men.
Seth was an amazing father to his children, along with being a great husband, son, brother, and friend. Even though his life down her on earth was for a short time, what he did in that short time was beyond measure. His love and care for people was shown wherever he went. Seth will truly be missed in this world, but he will forever be a treasure in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Charles Bobby Rogers and paternal grandfather James Richard Wright.
Along with his parents those left to cherish his memory include his wife Katy Carpenter Marsh of the home and children Braelynn & Issac Seth Marsh; brother Stephen Marsh, II & wife Marissa of Taylorsville; cousins Aaron Watts of Lincolnton and Jordan Watts of Claremont; best friend Koty Wheeler of Wilkesboro; nephew Josiah Marsh; maternal grandmother Betty Miller; uncle and aunt Scott & Bobbi Watts; and special friends Becky Brown and Tim & Vondie Green.
