Graveside services for Mr. Roger Dale Gentry, 79, of Atlanta, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Zion Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ron Gentry officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the cemetery.
Mr. Gentry passed from this life on February 18, 2018.
He was born March 8, 1938, in Rusk County to the late Linas N. Gentry and Ethel (Husbands) Ellington.
Mr. Gentry served his country in the United States Air Force and worked in law enforcement for Cass County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son John Eric Gentry and brother Charles Gentry.
Survivors include his wife Sue Gentry of Atlanta, sons Jeff Gentry and wife Maricela of Hitchcock, Clay Gentry and wife Gina of Henderson, Kevin Gentry and wife Eva of Angleton, and Harvey Gentry of Dallas, sister Iva Nell McNeil and husband Freddie of Pittsburg, and grandchildren Clay Gentry, Marissa Gentry, and Kanon Gentry.
