Willis Lee Pope, 88 of Phoenix, AZ, died April 25, 2008. He was born in
Clever, MO to Oron and Tressie Pope. In 1952, he and his loving wife of 63 years, Hilda, moved to Arizona from Florida. He was an active member and usher at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He served with the U. S. Navy for six years in the the South Pacific in WW II as a corpman. He is survived by his sons John (wife Sue) and William (wife Blaise), grandchildren Marcus (wife Kelly) and Ashley, great grandson Thomas; sisters Helen and Betty, brother James and uncle Wayne. Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm, April 28, 2008 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N, 7th St. Mass will be at 10 am on Tuesday, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8620 N. 7th St. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St. In lieu of flowers, donations to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul or Hospice of the Valley.
