Age 81. Died at WCCH. Was Chairman of Genesee State Park Commission and the "Father" of Letchworth State Park. He devoted much of his time during past 50 years to development of scenic 13,300 acre park along Genesee River gorge. Was 1902 President of Wyoming County Bank and Trust Co. Survived by his wife Mrs. Dorothy Gage Humphrey. 2 daughters Miss Dorothy Louise E. Humphrey and Mrs. James Wyckoff; 2 sons Wolcott J. Humphrey Jr. and Donald G. Humphrey and 12 grandchildren.
