Anna Mae Ruisard, 84, of DeMotte, Indiana, passed away February 19, 2018, at her home with her loving family around her. On May 4, 1933, Anna Mae was born to Casper and Grace (DeFries) Belstra in Jasper County, Indiana. Anna Mae graduated from DeMotte High School. She married the love of her life, Cornelius 'Herb' Ruisard, on April 10, 1953 in DeMotte, Indiana. Anna Mae loved being a homemaker, and taking care of her children, and especially her grandchildren.
Anna Mae is survived by her children: Audrey (David) Jolink and David (Debbie) Ruisard; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters Florence 'Sis' Riley and Marion Hathaway.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herb, three brothers: Albert K. Belstra, Eugene Belstra, and Herman Belstra and one sister, Gwendolyn Van Keppel.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the American Reformed Church, DeMotte, Indiana. Services for Anna Mae will take place at the church at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, with Pastor Troy Nannenga officiating. Interment will follow at the Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana.
