Kenneth Eugene English, 80, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018. FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Prairie. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Entombment: Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Kenneth was born in Houston, Texas, on Feb. 2, 1938, to parents, Eugene Elmer English and Kathryn Leona English. He graduated from San Angelo High School and received a civil engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He was married to Linda Lee English on Dec. 29, 1960. Kenneth worked in civil engineering for LTV and the civil engineering firm, Knowlton-English-Flowers, Inc., of Dallas-Fort Worth. He was a member of the Grand Prairie Gun Club and had a passion for skeet shooting, sporting clays, hunting and bow hunting. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee English, in 2015. SURVIVORS: He is survived by sons, Michael English of Austin, Texas, Phil English of Cedar Park, Texas, and Ken English Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, Austin English; grandson, Aaron English; grandson, Joey English; and daughters-in-law, Lindie English and Gloria English.
