Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Lois Gosnell and Theodore Pridmore.
He was a Shriner of the Almas Temple, Past Master of Harmony Masonic Lodge #17, a member of the Walden Masonic Lodge #274, and reached the 32nd Degree of Scottish Rite.
He was also Deacon Emeritis at San Souci Baptist Church.
“Chief” had a wonderful sense of humor, was an avid hunter and wood worker and loved to travel.
He is survived by son Charles F. Pridmore, Jr.; two daughters Melody A. Cadiz (Tony) and Lisa J. Hackman (Charles); seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a son Steven E. Pridmore; a sister and a brother.
Burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
