Albert Gotfredson, 91, a longtime Bickleton resident died Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Mt. Adams Heath Care Center in Goldendale, WA.
Albert Gotfredson was born Oct. 4, 1896, at Bickleton, WA, where he spent his early year and received his education. On Feb. 25, 1920, Miss Cora Headley and Albert Gotfredson were married at The Dalles, OR. Following their marriage they made their home at Bickleton where they farmed. his wife, Cora, died July 27, 1986, and following the death of his wife he continued to make his home in the Bickleton-Goldendale area until the time of his death. He was a member of the Alder Creek Grange.
Albert Gotfredson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harriett Andrew of Goldendale, WA; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one sister Elizabeth Norton of Los Angeles, CA, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son, Marion "Hap" Gotfredson, who died in 1973.
Graveside funeral services held Tuesday, Aug 30 at the Bickleton I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Bickleton, WA., under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside.
