Born in Fall River, son of the late Arthur G. and Blanche (Perrault) Paul, he was a lifelong resident of the city. Arthur served in the Army during World War II as a paratrooper and later in the field artillery. He then worked as an oil heat mechanic for many years for Pacific Oil. After that he had his own business, Paul's Oil Burner Service. Arthur drove truck for the Teamster's Union, was a Master Welder and had his private airplane pilot's license.
He was a member of the Bristol County Radio Control Club, the National Rifle Association of America (Life Member), the Fall River Rod and Gun Club, as well as, various other clubs and organization. He also lover WWII history.
He is survived by a son, Timothy A. Paul of Fall River; three daughters, Dorene V. Hebda and her husband Bruce of Oakland, ME, Deborah A. Monteiro and her husband Richard of Woonsocket, RI and Darleen E. Paul Dimor and her husband Phillip of Westport; a sister, Roseanne Oldrid of Fall River; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
