He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Dorothy Juanita Whitehouse Fowler; parents, Henry Roland and Rebecca Megee Fowler; son, Joseph Michael Fowler; and daughter, Connie Renee Fowler.
Survivors include: wife, Ivy Helen Fowler of Lebanon; son, Rick Fowler (Sharon) of Goshen; daughters, Karen Caldwell (Gerald) of Lebanon and Lisa Hoy (Val) of Shepherdsville; brother, Thomas Fowler of Lexington; sister, Evelyn Nicholson of Louisville; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom Parrott, Creed Fowler, Brent Fowler, Eli Hoy, Tommy Fowler, Robin Roberts, and Tony Fowler.
