Charles Daniel Hawk Sr., 61, formerly of Richardson Park, died yesterday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Elsmere, after a long illness.
He had lived in the Wilmington area all of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II and had ben employed at the A & H Cigar Co. in the Delaware Trust Building.
He is survived by two sons, Charles D. Jr. of Denville, N.J., and W. Russell of Wilmington; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia A. Scott of Wilmington; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Doyle and Mrs. Alice Donaldson, both of Wilmington; and five grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday afternoon at 1 at the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington St. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow night.
