Ignacio was the son of Antonio Estevan and Eudelia (Lira) Gonzalez and the brother of Antonio, Rudolf, Victor, Manuel, Arturo, Jose, Juan, Robert, Elida, Almar, Lucia and Sylvia.

Ignacio was the owner and operator of Chico's Mobile Gas Service Station from 1970's to 1980's. He sold his gas station and went to work for Medina County Precinct #2, as a truck driver and maintenance worker for many years. His favorite eating place was Bill Miller's BBQ. Ignacio had his own ranch where he raised sheep and goats and all kinds of birds and cattle.

He leaves behind his surviving siblings, Manuel, Arturo, Jose, Juan, Robert, Elida, Alamar and Lucia, several nephews and nieces.

Preceded by his parents and 3 siblings, Antonio, Rudolf and Victor.
