Services for Mr. Joshua Murdock, age 37, of Ponchatoula, LA, formerly of Moselle, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in the Moselle chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home. Bro. Jeff Easterling will officiate with burial to follow in the Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Nate Moseley, Morrison Smith, David Murdock, Brian Murdock, Scott Brown and Jason Ellzey.
Joshua loved spending time with his kids and working with livestock. He was a true outdoorsman and loved fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Murdock; his grandfather, David Cox, and his grandmother, Ann Aultman Smith.
He is survived by his children, Austin Michael Murdock, Joshua Peyton Murdock, and Laila Michelle Murdock, all of Moselle; his mother, Terra Lynn (Buddy) Yawn of Hattiesburg; his sister, Carrie Murdock of Moselle; his step brother, Trey (Kaylee) Ross of Biloxi; his grandmother, Nell Cox of Hattiesburg, and his niece, Allie Elizabeth Phillips.
Visitation for Mr. Murdock will be held from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
