Diane Burns, 74, of Brazil, passed away at home, on February 16, 2018. She was born in Lebanon, Illinois on May 30, 1943, the daughter of Walter and Edna (Liebig) Baum.
Diane married Albert “Marion” Burns on June 6, 1959. The early years of their marriage were spent in Illinois, Scotland, and Washington while Marion served in the Air Force.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Edna Baum; a son David Burns; siblings: Theodore Baum, Marion Williams, Betty Hartman, and Walter Baum.
Diane is survived by her husband of 58 years Marion Burns of Brazil; children: Steven W. Burns and wife Lori of Terre Haute, Rebecca Ann Yowell and husband Brad of Rosedale, and Scott Burns and wife Marian of Brazil; grandchildren: Courtney Chastain (Shawn), Alyssa Koza (Wesley), Lauren Love, Kaitlin Burns, Austin Burns, Brandon Stearley (Kristi), Adam Yowell (Iris), and Baileigh Burns; great-grandchildren: Parker Chastain, Hannah Love, Bennett Chastain, Wesley Koza Jr., Trysten Hightower, and Lexi Roman; two sisters: Dottie Brock and Judy Baker; special niece and nephew: Shelly Hartman and Art Hartman.
