Flossie Luttrell Allen of Russell Springs died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at Rockcastle Hospital. She was 81.

The daughter of the late Walker and Queen Victoria Chumbley Lane, she was born March 31, 1925 in Casey County.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Calvary Community Church.

She was the widow of Loren "Pete" Luttrell.

Survivors include five daughters, Marie Price of Dunnville, Rose Beldon of Danville, Eva Farmer of Mannsville, Joyce McDowell of Liberty and Janie Sutton of Russell Springs; three sons, Roy Luttrell of Hustonville, Charlie Luttrell of Russell Springs, and Garnett Luttrell of Liberty; two brothers, Clyde Lane and John Lane, both of Liberty; 42 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Junior Luttrell and Clifton Luttrell; a daughter, Mary E. McKnight; and a sister, Leora Passmore.

Funeral services were Oct. 22 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bros. John Bennett, Joey Marples and Jeremy Luttrell. Burial was in Old Contown Cemetery.
