M. Jean Paul
PAUL, M. Jean - Age 75, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 1997 at her residence. She was born on January 14, 1922 in Willamette, Oregon to Freelon L. and Angeline (Traxler) Bacon. On August 8, 1941 in Camas, Washington she married Roger Paul, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1974. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Skip Bacon and a sister, Catherine Haines. Jean was a housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was family oriented. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, raising flowers and vegetables. Mrs. Paul was an outgoing person who enjoyed her friends and fishing with her husband and family. She is survived by her son, Roger L. Paul and his wife, Eileen, her daughter, Sandra Paul, all of Roseburg, four grandchildren, Roger, Ronald and Paul and Deborah Roccaforte, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES. Pastor Hank Allmand will officiate. Entombment will follow at Riverview Abbey in Portland, Oregon. Those who wish may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 1, 1997 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. At the family's request contributions may be made to: Mercy Hospice, 2700 Stewart Parkway, Roseburg, OR 97470. Wilson's Chapel of the Roses is in charge of arrangements.
