Kittie married her first husband, Willis Theodore Dennison, son of Hiram Dennison and Louisa (née Whaling) on May 22, 1888 in Clinton County, Iowa. Willis Dennison passed away in 1895 while in Grandin, Missouri and was buried in Springdale Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa.
Kittie moved to Cedar Rapids from Clinton Iowa in 1897. She remarried to Bertram D. Millholen, son of James Millholen and Mary T. (née Davis) Millholen on June 14, 1899 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
