She was born in Akron, Ohio where she lived until 70 years of age. At that time she moved west to be near two of her daughters. Mom worked for Roadway Express from the age of 18 until retirement. She had many friends and fond memories of her time working there.
She was preceded in death by parents, George and Lillian Mernagh; siblings, Ruth Waller, Florence Mernagh, Dorothy Daugherty, Frances Mernagh Rose Andreas; and former spouse, Russ Jacobs. She is survived by her brother, Leo Mernagh; sister, Mary Agrimas; daughters, Janice, Robin/Brad, Dawne/Paul; four grandsons, Scott/Meaghan, Mark, Jonas and Jacob; her nephew, Gary; many loved nieces and nephews. We will honor her life with a family celebration filled with love and laughter. In remembrance of Mom we ask that you pass on an act of kindness in her name.
