Spencer - Donna Lee Buchanan, 80, previously of Indianapolis, passed away on February 15, 2018. She was born on March 21, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William and Catherine Wischmeyer. She married George Buchanan on June 15, 1957 in Indianapolis. Donna was a member of Spencer Christian Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her four children, and also spending time with her twelve grandchildren. Donna also enjoyed working in her flower gardens, reading her bible, and entertaining family and friends in Spencer.Donna is survived by her husband George; children Gary (Lisa) Buchanan, Mike (Gina) Buchanan, Julie (Scott) Matlock; grandchildren Jeremy (Renae) Buchanan, Charlie (Brittany) Buchanan, Christopher Buchanan, Matthew Zingraf, Bethany (Matt) Little, Troy Buchanan, Cosmo (Tracy) Buchanan, Alex Buchanan, Sam Buchanan, Alison Matlock, Haley Matlock; great-grandson Rhett Buchanan. In addition to her parents she is preceded in passing by her son Robert Buchanan.Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18 at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be given to Special Olympics of Indiana.
