Aug. 20, 1947 -- Sept. 25, 1996 Linda Crosby, 49, of Modesto died Wednesday at her home. Mrs. Crosby was a native of Chattanooga, Tenn. She lived in Modesto 25 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Michael Bridges, Samuel Bridges and Christy Kirk, all of Modesto; a brother, Vernon C. Sutton Jr. of Modesto; a sister, Patricia Costill of Reseda; and eight grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at Valley Home Cemetery, Oakdale. Lakewood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
