Anna Mae Carpenter went to be with our Heavenly Father on February 5, 2018. Preceded in death are her parents Frank Libbie, Lanola and Cecil Putnam, Sister Nola Libbie Schwenker, daughters Lanola Mae Carpenter, and Phyllis Jean Carpenter Hatcher.
Survivors are her loving husband of 70 years, Ronald Dean Carpenter Sr., Children: daughter Kathy Carpenter Clark of Sandia, Sons: Ronald Dean Jr. (Janet) Carpenter of Corpus Christi, Thomas Tommy Richard Carpenter of Livingston; Grandchildren: Shane (Courtney) Clark of Houston, Blayne (Kristen) Hatcher of Bentonville, Arkansas; Tammy Clark of Olympia, Washington; Cara Hatcher (Julio) Baez of Houston, Katie Clark (Michael) Cano of Sandia, Kristi Carpenter (Chris) Hatton of Livingston, Tyler (Tiffany) Carpenter of Houston, Courtney (James) Nelson of Livingston, and 12 Great-grand daughters and 6 Great-grand sons. She graduated from Brownsville High in 1945, lived in Port Isabel until 1962, moved to Corpus Christi until 1972, moved to Livingston until 1985, and resided in Sandia ever since. She worked at the Sandia Senior Citizens Center from August 22 1988 to April 30 2002. She was a loyal member of the Sandia Social Club and her family was her everything. She was the Carpenter family Facebook before Facebook was a thing. In her request she will be cremated with a graveside service at Sandia Cemetery, Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 4:00 pm with a Celebration of Life immediately following. Flowers may be sent directly to the Family at 161 County Road 366 Sandia, Texas 78383. The Family would like to thank the Del Cielo Hospice Care.
