"Briefs From All Around The County - Doniphan"
The remains of Doris Compton were brought from North Bend, Neb., Thursday and interment made in Cedar View cemetery Thursday afternoon. Doris, aged about 11 years, was the youngest child of Mrs. Pearl Compton who lived in Doniphan a number of years ago. Death was caused from an abscess in the head, following an attack of measles. Mrs. Compton and two daughters, Misses Mary and Bessie, accompanied the remains and visited with friends until Sunday morning.
