Abraham Simons, one of the oldest settlers of Cass county, who died at his home in Clinton township yesterday morning at the age of 70 years and 5 days, was born in that township and lived there almost his entire life. He was the youngest of ten children, all of whom have gone before him. He leaves a wife, two sons, George and Sam, and a daughter Mrs. Quillan, who lives here, Mrs. John Minick, of Middletown, Ind. and two sons Will and Frank, of Gas City, Ind.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from St. John's church. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. [obituary from unknown newspaper]
