CZELUSTA - Emily M. Of Hartland, wife of the late Joseph J. Czelusta, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Millard Filmore Suburban Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, New York on February 14, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Aniela Franczyk Swierkosz and Alexander Otto. Emily was a member of St. Patricks Church in Barker, NY and loved doing yard work, even up until this year. She worked at the family gas station on the corner of Checkered Tavern and 104 and was very hands on at the farm. Mother of Chris (Jackie) Czelusta, Gordon (Susan) Czelusta and Dr. Larry (Peggy) Czelusta. Sister of the late Matthew (Dorothy) Swierkosz, Sophie (Joseph) Zielinski, Adeleine (Louis) Wolentarski and Genevieve (Kasmir) Surdel. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2670 Main St., Newfane, New York on Sunday from 5-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 9:30AM in Our Lady of the Lake Parish (St. Patricks) Quaker Rd., Barker, New York. Burial will be held in Wrights Corners Cemetery at 12:30PM.
