Scott E. Perry age 43 of Clinton, passed away Monday Feb. 12, 2018 at Genesis East Hospital in Davenport.

Visitation will be held 2 – 4 PM Sunday, Feb. 18th at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the visitation, cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday Feb. 19th at Zion Lutheran Church, where a lunch will follow.
Memorials may be given to the National Reyes Syndrome Foundation or Pathways of Clinton.

Scott was born on Dec. 19, 1974 in Hayward, CA, the son of John and Marie (Munck) Perry. Scott graduated from Clinton High School in 1993, Clinton Community College, and received is BA Degree from the University of Iowa. He loved Marine Biology and the study of sharks.

Scott worked at M.E.C.C.A. and Systems Unlimited in Iowa City as a substance abuse counselor, D.A.C. in Dewitt, and recently with the Clinton Herald.

Scott loved to watch sports, especially ESPN, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago White Sox. He was a huge David Johnson fan, currently with the Arizona Cardinals. He enjoyed reading, huge Pearl Jam fan where he attended more than 10 shows throughout the country, and watching Joel Osteen Ministries.

Scott was an organ donor and loved to help people.

Scott is survived by his mother, Marie Perry of Clinton; his brother, Joe Perry of Davenport; 11 aunts & uncles, Gary (Janet) Munck, Larry (Sherri) Munck, Lonnie (Ron) Fell, Judy Olson, Jolee Witt, Gay (John) Smith, Laurie (Steve) Guidebeck, Nancy (Paul) Burke, Jeff Munck, Dan (Cathy) Donahue, and Greg (Charlene) Munck; and several cousins and their children.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Louis and Jane Munck, paternal grandparents, Betty Bokholdt and Forrest Perry, his aunt, Patti Donahue, and his uncle, Tom Olson.
