Arthur Ray Carten of Hartland passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born October 19, 1932 and was the son of the late William and Pearl Carten. He was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley, grandson; Jonathon Weeks; great grand daughter, Savana Clark; sister, Peggy Thibodeau; brothers, Eugene Carten and William Carten.

Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Rockland at a later date. If so desired donations can be made to the Hillside Cemetery or a Charity of the donors choice.
