Floyd Frank Walker, 85, was born March 3, 1932 in Altoona, Iowa, the son of Glen and Mamie (Herweh) Walker. He passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Floyd is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Walker and Annette Barr (fiancé, David Palmer); grandchildren, Jessica, Stephen, Shannon, Cameron and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Grace, Eva, Tayleigh and Axel; sister, Doris (Gaylen) Heaberlin; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Procyk and his sisters, Vivian Tingley and Roberta Marshall.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW with burial to follow at Canfield Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Ivy Centennial United Methodist Church in loving memory of Floyd.
