MaryAnn Sogge, 82 of Spicer, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer and for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Spicer City Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in New London.

MaryAnn Ragnhild (Jordin) Sogge was born on August 29, 1935 in Irving Township, the daughter of Walter and Inga (Johnson) Jordin. She grew up in the Atwater and Hawick area. On January 1, 1955, MaryAnn was united in marriage to Allan Sogge in Zion Lutheran Church in Irving Township. This union was blessed with five children. They made their home in Spicer where she worked at Green Lake Elevator, Spicer Oil, NL-S Schools, Willmar Poultry and her favorite job at Spicer Library.

MaryAnn was a charter and active member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, baking cookies and traveling and camping with Allan. They especially loved sharing their lives together with their children and grandchildren.

MaryAnn died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar at the age of 82.

MaryAnn was preceded in death by husband, Allan; sons, Loren and Donald; grandson, Christopher Knute; parents; brother, Noel (Mildred) Jordin and sister, Vivian (Orlynn) Mankel.
