Kenneth C. Gaughran

Owego - Kenneth C. Gaughran, 82, of Owego passed away with his family at his side on Monday, January 15, 2018.

Ken is survived by his wife, Patricia J. (Bender) Gaughran, his sister, Judith Brophy; his children: Kelly Callery, Cindu Gaughran, Timothy Gaughran, Michael (Terri) Gaughran, Suzanne (Gerald) Madden, Robert (Karina) Gaughran, Daniel (Loralyn) Gaughran, Kimberly Graham, Matthew (Nicole) Gaughran, Casey (Diana) Gaughran. 29 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren.

Ken was born on June 24, 1935 in New York City a son of the late William M. and Allegra (Kroll) Gaughran.

He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. Following graduation he enlisted into the US Army and proudly served his country from 1954-1956. Ken received his Bachelor's Degree from Montclair State University and for many years he was a teacher for Central Regional High School in New Jersey and Buffalo High School in Missouri. He was an expert woodworker, an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan although spending time with his family brought him the most enjoyment.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 20th at noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 430 Montrose Turnpike, Owego.
