Imogene Jones, 79, of Pearl, MS, passed away on February 13, 2018.

Imogene was born in Louisiana on February 25, 1938 to Velma Gray Hall and Mary Evaline Hudson Hall. She worked as a clerk with the Rankin County Justice Court for several years. Imogene was also a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was very passionate about her family and treated her dogs like family. She was a Christian woman who had a close relationship with and loved God and fellowship with her church.

Imogene is survived by her grandchildren, James L. "Trey" Jones, III, Beth Jones Purvis, Jennie Jones Fisher, and Katie Jones Wells; as well as her daughter-in-law, Lynette Jones Atkinson, and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge James L. Jones, Jr.; daughters, Cindy Jones and Teresa Jones Neal; and son, James "Jimmy" Jones.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be Sunday, February 18, at 2:00 pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
