Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Lewis; parents, Malcolm G. Pearce and Laura Lee (Robinette); brothers, Keith Pearce and Gary Pearce; sisters, LaVerne Hatcher, Katie Flammang, Glenda Jacobs and Nonette McFerrin.
Survivors: Daughter, Lorraine Collins; grandchildren, Clayton Collins, Charles Collins, Brian Collins and Chad Collins; brother, Michael Pearce.
