Iva LaVonne Christensen Wall was born Monday, October 8, 1923 in Richfield, Utah to Archie Bert Christensen and Sarah Curtis.

She was a great-great-granddaughter of Enos Curtis who is buried in the Springville Cemetery. Iva moved to Provo when she was twelve years old in 1935.

She married Clyde LeRoi Wall on August 20, 1942. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She accompanied her husband on five LDS missions. They served for three years as building missionaries in Asuncion, Paraguay and Montevideo, Uruguay, supervising the construction of the first LDS Chapels in South America.

They served a proselytizing mission for eighteen months in Southern California. They served another welfare service mission in Asuncion, Paraguay for eighteen months. They served in Mexico for six months, and then they served in the Chicago Temple for one year. They later served as ordinance workers in the Provo and Mount Timpanogos Temples.

Iva lived an active life of service as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She gave continual service as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to a grateful posterity.

She was excited to be an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, where she served as President of North Central Company and Captain of Lindon Camp.

Iva passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2004 of natural causes at the home of her daughter, Carolyn. She resided at 465 North 400 East in Lindon, Utah at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lindon Twelfth Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 435 North Canal Street (550 East) in Lindon. A viewing was held on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary located at 494 South 300 East in Pleasant Grove, and one and one half hours prior to the services on Saturday.
Iva was laid to rest following the conclusion of the funeral services at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo.
