She was born May 17, 1947 in Catawba County to the late Bill and Rosemary
Seagle Yount. Frannie was confirmed at Holycross Lutheran Church in New-
ton and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover and enjoyed
reading her Bible. She graduated Valedictorian of the 1965 class of Newton
Conover High School and Magna Cum Laude from UNCG after being inducted
into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Frannie was the 1963 Carousel Prin-
cess, a 1964 Shelby Debutante, and enjoyed speaking and teching romance
languages.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two beloved child-
ren, Bradley Nelson Schronce and Alison Rose Schronce. Those left to cherish
her memory are her husband of 49 years, Nelson Schronce of the home; sisters,
Carole Yount Cloninger and husband Finley of Claremont, Margaret Yount Quin-
lan and husband Frank of Rocky Mount; daughter-in-law, Patricia Sigmon Schronce
of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Rebecca Schronce and Adam Schronce; and num-
erous family members that love her dearly.
A service to celebrate Frannie's life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at
11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover. Rev. Paul Nelson
will officiate. Burial will follow at Conover City Cemetery. The family will receive friends
following the service in the Chapel of Concordia Lutheran Church. Those serving as
pallbearers are: Bo Cloninger, Bill Cloninger, Samuel Robinson, Adam Schronce, Finley
Schronce and Don Beal.
