Funeral services for Frederick Raymond "Papa" "Curley" Parker will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Dr. Woods Watson will officiate. Interment will follow at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Parker was born August 17, 1929 in Bogalusa, LA and passed away February 14, 2018 in West Monroe. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Adele Parker; brother-in-law, Ben Toney; sister-in-law, Ann Greco. He served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force as a flight engineer. Fred loved his family and traveled all over the world while serving in the military. He was a highly decorated veteran during the Vietnam War.
Fred is survived by his wife, Gladys Toney Parker; daughter, Rachelle Parker Fogle and husband Jon; son, Frederick Parker, Jr. and wife Tanya; granddaughter, Jennifer Barmes and husband Rodney; grandson, Erik Fogle; great-granddaughter and best friend, Kassidy Wallace; great-grandsons, Jacob Robinson, Noah Robinson; great-granddaughters, Stormie Fogle and Gracie Fogle; brother-in-law, Jewell Toney and wife Peg; Bob Toney and wife Jayne, Ray Toney and wife Brenda, Royce Toney and wife LouAnn; sister-in-law, Betty Young and husband David, Faye Foster and husband George, Cathy Marquis and husband Greg; cousins, Brian Wheat, Janet Wheat; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Barmes, Dylan Copeland, Jacob Robinson, Noah Robinson, David Wallace and Anthony Buxton.
A special thanks to special caregivers/friends Yvonne Buxton, Christine Buxton and Connie Wallace and Legacy Hospice Nurses, Norene, Judy, Sally, Clarissa and Bree, Dr. Frank Weinholt.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
