Carolyn Sue Jennings-Colvert

Exeter - Carolyn Sue Jennings-Colvert of Exeter, California, passed away peacefully, under a blue moon, to be with our Heavenly Father on January 31, 2018.

Carolyn was born on May 29, 1948 in Oklahoma to Delbert "Del" and Arnie-Bell Jennings. In the 1950's Carolyn and her family moved to Earlimart, Carlifornia. Carolyn attended Delano High School and later went on to be the first person in her family to go to college. Carolyn was a natural beauty and as a result, while at the College of the Sequoias, she was honored with the title of "Miss May." Carolyn loved the Lord and attended church regularly. It was at church that she met the love of her life, Timothy James Colvert. In 1973 the two married and happily welcomed their daughter Gina Maria into their life. Carolyn was devoted to her family, church and friends. She worked for Tulare County for many years and when she wasn't working she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, taking long drives, spending times in the backyard visiting and watching over her pets (Mickey and Chelsy.)

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Tim, father "Del" Jennings, brother Joseph Jennings, niece Melissa Renfro-Dauray and dear friend, Jim Andrews.

She is survived by her daughter Gina Marie Colvert-Serrao, grandchildren: James Jordan Colvert, Joely Marie and Nicole Faith Serrao, her mother Arnie-Bell Jennings, sisters Margie Renfro and Linda Morgan and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn's smile and laugh will be missed by all, but she will be in our hearts forever.

Our family would like to give a special thank-you to Karen, who brought a special cup of coffee every week to Carolyn while she was in the hospital.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:30AM at Calvary Church, 11720 Ave. 264, Visalia, California.
