Dorothy was 97 years old and passed away peacefully at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson surrounded by family. She was born in Oakdale, raised in Valley Home. She attended Oakdale High and went to college in San Francisco. She is survived by her five children, Chuck Rivera, Delores Pluim (Bruce), Carolyn Avant (Leroy), Phillip Rivera and Patricia Borton and four step-sons, Jim (Lynn), John (Sharon), Don (Mary), and George (Susan) Rowland Jr.
