Sara’s eventful life’s journey has been blessed with many accomplishments: executive secretary; piano, organ and voice teacher; church choir director for many years; annual community producer/director of Handel’s Messiah with accompanying orchestra; Peace Corps volunteer to Montserrat, West Indies at age 70; poet, composer and novelist.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the First Baptist Church in Galax, Virginia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.
