Patty Jane LaFalier of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at her home. She was 82.
Patty was born May 17, 1935 in Treece, KS to Giles and Reba (Malotte) Johnson. She had lived in Picher most of her life before moving to Miami in 2009. She was a 1953 Picher High School graduate and a member of the First Baptist Church in Picher.
She married Johnny LaFalier July 11, 1954 in Picher, OK and he preceded her in death October 20, 2014. She was also preceded by her parents and her sister Merlyn Mantle in 2009.
Survivors include her son Johnny Giles LaFalier of the home, her daughter Jana Lynn Nixon of Miami, OK, her granddaughter Gretchen Sill and husband Scott of Bentonville, AR and 2 great grandchildren Natalyn Sill and Elia Rose Sill.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Rick Longcrier will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. John Sparkman, Scott Sill, David Mantle, Danny Mantle, Will Mantle and Mike Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
