She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Elgie and Lena Henderson Hooker.
She was preceded in death by sons, John and James Owens, daughter, Barbara Keltch, and brothers, Jim and Buddy Hooker, and granddaughter, Beverly Patten Troutman
She is survived by husband, Joe Fields, sons, Arthur (Tammy) and Paul Owens of Arkansas, daughters, Dorothy Clevenger (Henry), Mae Jones (Larry), sisters, C. Dene Standefer (T.W.); grandchildren, Ron Morgan, Teddy Owens, Randy Owens, Mark Owens, Charles Owens, Wesley Scates-Keltch, Sandra Shipley(Roy), Shelly Owens, Tammy Owens, Donna Owens Collingsworth, Angela Keltch, Amanda Hixson(Tommy), Stephanie Owens, Jammie Owens, Stephanie Massey(Kevin), and Jeanna Keltch; numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A devoted wife and loving mother; she enjoyed sewing and tending to her flowers before her failing health. She and Joe shared many times listening to gospel and bluegrass music.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Welch Rogers Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
